The new Baptist Memorial Hospital is a replacement campus on 100-acre located in Oxford, Mississippi. The facility includes five stories, 217 beds, and the ability/design to accommodate future growth to 250 beds. The services include cardiovascular surgery, neurosurgery, Cancer treatment, a 24-hour emergency department, and an ambulance building with four ambulance bays with sleep rooms for EMTs. This facility has a central energy plant that features three 1050 ton energy efficient centrifugal chillers, three 350 BHP high-efficiency steam boilers, and two 1500 KW generators with an emergency paralleling distribute ion system. The lobby includes flooring with radiant heating for comfort and reduced condensation on the tiles. Throughout the hospital, the facility is equipped with LED lighting,low voltage switching controls,a low temperature air handing system serving the surgery rooms, and a dedicated IT room system.
